The Page girls have continued to improve. This is a really fun team to watch right now. Excellent officiated game last night.

The varsity officials did do a good job...to bad I can't say the same for the two officials in the JV game...they were going to let Gap shoot two free throws when Page had only committed seven fouls and it was a non shooting foul...that was just one instance of many...however, they were fair, they were equally bad for both teams

The one JV ref shouldn't be a ref at all. He's the one that blundered everything the other week during the JV boys game against Riverheads. On Tuesday with the Gap girls, the Gap coach asked "what is the foul for? she's not doing anything." And his response was word for word "coach, she blocked the shot" LOL And then when they were going to let Gap shoot 2 FTs I was telling the scoreboard operator to buzz in because they were only at 1-1. It was bad.

I usually come in around halftime of the jv games. I love the girls to much to watch them have to battle in a rugby match for a entire game.
