Last week:
Page gave Dudley all they could handle last week in a very close ball game that came down to the wire.
Eastern took care of Grimsley pretty easily, thriving off turnovers.

Page's young offense started a bit slow and has turned the ball over early, but they seem to really be coming around now, and shaping into a formidable offense, with sophomore Javondre Paige (6'1 180) calling the signals.

Page's defense this year is probably the best ive seen at Page since 2011

I think a big factor in this game will be EG coming off a Monday night game with Page coming off a Thursday night game, Page has the advantage with preparation time and rest.

This will be a great game and it will provide both teams with pivotal info. Eastern is my sleeper team(I know they're not much of a sleeper tevin 3A and I think they get Page in a hard fought battle.

Both defenses are as good as advertised. Halftime it was knotted up at 0-0. This game came down to the wire.

Eastern started the scoring with a 40+ yard FG. Page QB Paige would end up throwing an interception on the next drive and EG ran it down to the 3, they punched it in and Page blocked the PAT, 9-0 EG. It seemed like EG had control of the game at this point, and they definitely had momentum.

Page's offense was able to move the ball, but kept up the miscues with turnovers and penalties. EG made Page punt again, it was downed at the 1 yard line, which led to a safety a couple of plays later (this is where the huge momentum shift happened). Page secured possession and scored on a 50 yard end-around run by wideout Cody King after the safety, tying the score again at 9-9.

Page would make EG punt on their next possession, the punter went to a knee on a low snap, giving Page the ball deep in EG territory. Four plays later, QB Paige ran it in from 13 yds out to give Page their first lead 16-9.

The Wildcats went on a 6-play, 87-yard drive that lasted just 1:24 and tied it once again 16-16.

In the 4th quarter, Page would finally stamp the game over after a 18 play, 74 yard drive, that set up a 19 yard FG. The drive consumed about 8 and a half minutes. Eastern blew all 3 of their timeouts on the drive. EG set up a FG attempt with about 10 seconds left, but Page blocked the attempt. 19-16 Final.

Eastern was unable to run the ball really for the whole game. The wildcats were held to 3 net yards on 25 carries. Longest gain being 7 yards. (per the gso n&r)
