I bet on Pop to be MVP at 50-1 and I also bet on him to have 50 yards receiving and either a rushing or receiving TD at 14-1. I figure if he hits my 14-1 shot then he’s got a shot at the 50-1 and I love Pop so I was happy putting a few bucks on Pops props. Let’s Go!!

One solid shot and one fantasy island.
Well remember Pop runs back kickoffs too so if he takes one to the house one never knows besides I like Fantasy Island lol especially the new version starring the very hot Roselyn Sanchez.

I'm not a bettor so just an opinion. The issue with IP and bets is the way KC substitutes. I've watched a lot of their games. It's just as likely that McKinnon is the RB once they're inside the 20 because KC seems to like to throw in that situation. Even tho Pops is fine as a receiver, McKinnon is used more often in that role.

Of course I hope u guys all win.

The problem with the MVP is I don't like betting on something subjective.. Pacheco could be the "best" statistically but Mahomes and Kelce have big associated narratives where if it's close I feel like IP will get the short end.

Yeah.. I suspect that if Mahomes tossed 3 dump passes in the flat to Pachecko that all became 50+ yard TDs that Mahomes would be MVP.
Yes probably an exaggeration but I'm with you in spirit. And also you are betting IP because it should be a pretty decent payout if it hits. But you don't find out you lost until Mahomes is given the award after the game. Just a frustrating setup I'd rather avoid.

LJ Smith scored the first TD in Super Bowl 39. I was in Las Vegas for the game. If I remember correctly, it paid 15-1.

I agree that Pop is a big longshot only because they don't rush for a ton of TDs and often sub in the other RB at the goal line. But it can't hurt to throw $5 at it.

I think most people on here are just betting for fun on Pop and not expecting to win, for those people enjoy the sweat.

If you are putting serious money on it, be aware that the award just does not go to RBs, it's not the way the NFL is structured now. But that is why the price is what it is. Modern SB MVPs have won because of the pass or stopping the pass.

From this article, https://www.footballoutsiders.com/ramblings/2023/super-bowl-lvii-prop-bet-extravaganza :

The last 10 Super Bowl MVPs have been six quarterbacks, two receivers (both of whom led their team in receiving yards on a day when their quarterbacks failed to hit 300 yards passing), and two defenders (each of whom forced a turnover leading to a defensive score). We haven't seen a running back win this award since Terrell Davis and the Broncos' first Super Bowl win, after the 1997 season.

In the SB the good defenses usually shut the running games down first thing
Rice only had 59 yds on 20 carries (no scores) in Ravens vs SF.

Kelce has a nice payout to win MVP as well
