That honestly looks like the start of an entirely new discipline, perhaps a whole subset of disciplines.

Olympic cross country skiing might be the most demanding athletic achievement of them all. Watching things like that and seeing them all collapse the second they cross the finish line is wild. Honestly, it looks like hell.

In the Tour de France the riders are so equal on flats that the mountains are what often decide the winners. Looks like Klaebo is following the same strategy. In the 2006 TdF Floyd Landis won the race after a seemingly miraculous mountain stage where he just blew the pack away in startling fashion. It was found he had used PEDs and nobody was surprised
