Was really surprised how little they went to him in the first half today. I believe he only had 3 carries at the half. I wonder if Spielman being out today made the staff want to emphasize getting the ball to Washington out of the backfield and it limited DO's touches?

Iowa is not great running out in space and it showed with mo Washington getting touches on the perimeter. Think It was just a case of taking what is there from a pretty solid defense

I dont think it was there. Tried going to him. At least it seemed that way to me.
