He can't come back. He doesn't have any eligibilityIf he doesn't, UK has money to bring him back.
I thought the new 5 year rule starts now and doesn't include players from last season? If he doesn't, UK has money to bring him back.

There's a lawsuit being filed right now on behalf of dozens of players from the class of '22 so that they can be included in the 5 for 5. I bet they win, too.I thought the new 5 year rule starts now and doesn't include players from last season?

Not sure his defense is good enough to be a role player either.I'm afraid he does not shoot well enough to stick in the league.
So this is a possibility? I'd definitely love to have Oweh back instead of the euro.If he doesn't, UK has money to bring him back.
Oweh can do what Cason Wallace can do then some. He sticketh in the league.I think he will be a better pro than a lot of people in this draft. His motor and athleticism will give him a chance to stick as a role player. He was very efficient as a college player which should translate. He is a great defender, can still develop his shot which isn't bad, his handle will improve as well, and he is a good passer.
He shot 33% on 3.75 attempts as senior. He is also highly efficient inside the arc and great at getting to line. With NBA floor spacing, he will be able to get to the rim. No reason he can't develop into at least a Luguentz Dort type player.I'm afraid he does not shoot well enough to stick in the league.
We'll know soon enough. All the seniors may have eligibility. There's a lawsuit underway. So this is a possibility? I'd definitely love to have Oweh back instead of the euro.
Also is Aberdeen going to be playing for Florida? Did he ever get eligible?
They might get a temporary injunction but they will ultimately lose on appeal. We'll know soon enough. All the seniors may have eligibility. There's a lawsuit underway.
Absolutely we need to move on two years here nothing hanging from the rafters and Star player in last years disastrous season too. I don't want to be exposed again to a player trying to prove he can shoot from 25 feet . Good athlete horrible in the team aspectLove the "kid" but no thanks. If he came back to be the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team a fill that role obvious yes but he's not doing that. Wrecks the offense and we were forced to pay him superstar money last yr. Can't make the mistake again.
That would be correct but people are planning their lawsuits already, so some people have the natural assumption that the courts will allow it.I thought the new 5 year rule starts now and doesn't include players from last season?
What, you don’t like the ball hog pouting when he’s not getting his shots or his spotty defense. His fans will be highly upset with you.Love the "kid" but no thanks. If he came back to be the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team a fill that role obvious yes but he's not doing that. Wrecks the offense and we were forced to pay him superstar money last yr. You wouldn't take back one of the best players in the SEC last year? Really?Love the "kid" but no thanks. If he came back to be the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team a fill that role obvious yes but he's not doing that. Wrecks the offense and we were forced to pay him superstar money last yr. Really. Wasn't really great at anything except getting to the rim and even then you hoped he didn't blow a bunny. Had to have the ball in his hands at all times but really couldn't create for anyone else and caused the offense to stall. Gets buckets in bunches but that just lead to scoring droughts when he started slow or had a bad stretch. Would be a great 2nd or 3rd option but UK was in a spot where they couldn't let him walk. So they paid him like one of the best SEC players and forced the offense through him but I believe our offense will be better this year with the subtraction of both him and DA.You wouldn't take back one of the best players in the SEC last year? Really?
I believe the scouting report to be pretty accurate. Not a great ball handler, shooter or creator for himself and not a willing passer. Yeah he's great at bullying his way to the bucket but there are guys way more gifted than him that can't get off the bench in the league. He better use the NIL money to invest in Rosetta StoneRead the scouting report for Oweh yesterday and it really made no sense. The guy was acting like Oweh couldn’t create his own shot, and would be limited to cuts only but I disagree heavily. Oweh is a bucket and if he wanted to could 100% get to the rim in the nba. Yes Owehs jumper isn’t great but he really improved his three this year.
I really hope for him he gets drafted
Oweh cant create his shot lolRead the scouting report for Oweh yesterday and it really made no sense. Honestly I guess I don’t know what the game of basketball even is? If a player never passes the ball to his teammates and dribbles around and gets to the basket and scores how is that not creating your own shots? I think youve let big words and fancy people get into your headOweh cant create his shot lol
I agree mostly. Ok to good shooting. Good to pretty good ball handling. Not a great passer. But he can definitely get himself a basket yes a lot of it is through bullying his way in but if you think that’s all he did you didn’t watch a single game of Kentucky basketball.I believe the scouting report to be pretty accurate. I have to disagree with you this time. Having him back for another season would kill any hope of Kentucky turning things around.I seriously doubt he will end up being eligible or end up back here, but I think its nonsense for anyone to say we wouldn't want him back. He could start at the three and kick Momcilovic to the four and be even more effective with a great 6'9" shooter like Momcilovic stretching the defense, and he would certainly help at the defensive end
The ability to "create your own shot" means basically if u get 10 dribbles how OPEN of a shot can you create for yourselfHonestly I guess I don’t know what the game of basketball even is? That’s just not what that is.The ability to "create your own shot" means basically if u get 10 dribbles how OPEN of a shot can you create for yourself
oweh its 10 dribbles to the hoop and make a contested layup or get fouled, for a guy like peterson he could shake a defender off and have an open 12 foot jumper
You left out, hold the ball for 10 seconds, ignoring teammates until you find the path to the basket then half the time you dribble it off your own foot. The ability to "create your own shot" means basically if u get 10 dribbles how OPEN of a shot can you create for yourself

So I'm taking the opposing view of OO and therefore pointing out his flaws. Of course I dont think he's trash but I will die on the hill that at BEST he should be the 2-3 best player on a Final Four caliber team.I agree mostly. Ok to good shooting. Ok I agree with this. Unless he went to some absolute trash rebuild team no one will let him iso for as long as he wants. So I'm taking the opposing view of OO and therefore pointing out his flaws. Of course I dont think he's trash but I will die on the hill that at BEST he should be the 2-3 best player on a Final Four caliber team.
And the other things he does that you mention are the things he can't do consistently. Add that to the fact that no NBA team is going to let him take 10-15 seconds off the clock for him to find his way to the basket. Just dont see a spot for him but think he makes a lot of money over seas.
Man I just don't see how. He would not be the man anymore, thats gonna be Momcilovic, Zoom and Wilkins. I think Oweh is far better as a 3rd or 4th optionI have to disagree with you this time. Having him back for another season would kill any hope of Kentucky turning things around.
