And it's Weber. That guy doesn't out coach anyone. He's who other coaches go up against to get their confidence back.

Why would you want to trap with Gabriel with 44 seconds in a tied game? K-State is going to get one possession, UK is going to get one possession! Cal has tried to do that a number of times this year and it never worked! Just plain stupid!

Yes, PJ missed the foul shots, but this is still CLEARLY on Cal.

Their bigs were in foul trouble, their best player Sneed in foul trouble to start the 2nd half, but no offense in the post for the first 10-12 minutes of the 2nd half.

That's brilliant, BRILLIANT, strategy.

However, once PJ started getting the ball down low, their guys (including Sneed) fouled out. My question is.... why not start that all through the 2nd half. With Sneed out of the game most of the 2nd half, how much worse does KSt look?

Cal was out coached and I’m an optimist. We played their style the whole game and the team was unmotivated and flat to start. He also screwed by coming out of the coaches box for the thousandth time, will he ever learn where that touching line is at? He cost UMASS against us in the tournament one year doing the same thing. If he can’t coach himself some control then why does he expect it from the players.

Look, Cal is really good and he's got really good players. But he's being killed right now on the recruiting trail by K, he's lost 3 straight to Kansas, we were swept by Tennessee for the first time in 20 years, Alford has had his way with him, and we just lost inside of the easiest bracket in history to a team we're 9-0 lifetime against.

Cal is trending down. If that makes me a hater so be it.

You don't want this kind of crap bleeding into 3-4 more years. We need to make some runs the next 3 seasons.

As Cal likes to say they came out and punched us in the mouth and kept doing it, we played rattled all night and missed way too many free throws.

Weber did a great job coaching his guys to make a ton of threes they normally miss and for PJ to miss 15 FTs

1 or 2 bounces different and we win, it's annoying but it happens

Unless your Dook, you will be bailed out by the stripes.

Lots of things went wrong tonight from Coach down to players. PJ played hard, but you've got to at least hit freaking HALF of your foul shots.

again. I just can’t defend Cal anymore. This team was not ready to play. I don’t want to hear about freshman anymore.
No. It's not Cal's fault they missed the FTs or couldn't hit in the first half. Sometimes you have one of those nights. Tonight was one where K-St played a bit above their heads.

There were several times, especially in the second half that we could push the pace a little and use our athleticism and we walked it up the floor playing to K-state plan. We were down and needed a spurt and basically took ourselves of these opportunities.
