The best thing about foreign players is that you can recruit 30 year olds who claim to be 21. It’s a great way to get a veteran squad.

Year 1 - 19
Year 2 - 20
Year 3 - 21
Year 4 - 22 (now)
Year 5 - 23 (next season)

I’ve seen the stuff about him having two years, I just don’t understand how that would work. Is that under the 5-in-5 rule or the current rules? Or maybe he’s still 22 when next season starts and it’s just a matter of what month his birthday is?
His birthday is in March, he would be 23 when the 27-28 season starts.

Pure delusion calling this kid an nba prospect. He’s already 22 with 3 years of pro ball and the nba isn’t even sniffing around him. 10 and 6 in some African league will equate to about 7 and 5 next year.

It’s not an African league, it’s the top Italian League. Former cat Nate Sestina is in it and averages 3 pts per game.

Italian, African… all the same. 😂

Point is the same, we need top end talent. That’s what we don’t have and he’s not that. If people think he’s gonna come in and be awesome then they’re in for disappointment.

He is a top end talent. He just hasn’t put it all together just yet.

Here’s ESPN talking about him in 2020 as one of the most promising future NBA players in the world:

And no…African basketball and Italian basketball are not the same. Do you even care about accuracy?
