Has the potential to be really weird if we can make it to Omaha.

There’s a realistic scenario where we could get to Omaha and be on the same side of the bracket as a 4 seed and two 3 seeds. Compare that with the other side where almost everything went chalk this weekend, and the lone exception was one a lot of people expected (NC State beating LA Tech).

Gotta beat Notre Dame first, obviously. But I can be convinced that whoever makes it out of this Super may be the favorite to get to the title series.

It is different. We are the only super on our side that chalk held and both 1 seeds advanced.

UT really has to hate drawing LSU. UT did sweep them in the regular season but in 3 really close games, 2 of them in extra innings. It's so difficult to beat a team of comparable talent 5 times in a row and LSU is playing much better right now. Plus LSU has post season experience and is not going to be distracted by the big stage. Look for that one to go 3 and would not be surprised if LSU came out on top.

That LSU/Tennessee series might have 10 HRs a game. I don’t see how either team can have big success in Omaha when they both rely so heavily on HRs.

That would be so Tennessee since their dumpster fire started. Texas being on our side is kind of ironic.

Texas probably still has PTSD from what Landon Sims did to them at the beginning of the year. We should start him that game and pitch him until his arm falls off. **

Assuming Texas advances, we get what we've wanted.

Lots of MSU fans upset about the amount of respect ND and Texas got in polls and predictions where they were settled ahead of us. Well, now (assuming super regional chalk holds) we get to prove who's really better. I also wouldn't mind another crack at UT.

On the flip side, Really glad we're staying away from Arkansas. I don't trust anyone else on their side of the CWS bracket to come out on top.

I would say that Texas start was mccleod’s best start of the year before the regional.*

Didn’t actually check the stats but I remember he struck out a lot of batters.
