We’ve played two good teams in the big ten (well Penn State was good) and our offense has literally handed touchdowns to them on the opening drive. We should literally never take the ball to start a football game, yet here we are.

That was all on Gill, who has typically been pretty reliable. Pass was right where it needed to be.
Gill just didnt have his hands in the right position for a chest high pass. he had both hands palms up which is not good, need to have both thumbs touching and fingers like a web to let the nose of that ball fit in their, catch and tuck it away.
We have had a lot of receivers over the last 4 or 5 years who just do not get their hands right, and I put as much blame on our receivers coach and OC because you can correct this
