Nah, I was thinking we'd get the onside kick, drive down the field and score a TD with no time left on the clock..... and then during the PAT attempt to tie it up, the kid would doink it off the upright to lose by 1.

lol. I do remember thinking we'd recover the onside kick, get a couple of first downs to get into the red zone . . . and then throw and interception or something. But, yeah, your scenario of scoring the TD just to miss the PAT would be more Gamecockish than my scenario.
