Maybe I should eat my words about the Panthers stupidly trading him for WR Smith. From a purely on the field perspective it was a stupid trade. However if Worley showed signs he would do something stupid like this while with Carolina, it makes a lot more sense.

Worley was toast in the Big 12. Big 12 WRs abused him. I was shocked an NFL team drafted him. He left after 3rd junior year. He was raw and needed senior year.

I believe he had a DUI along with a previous arrest at WVU at a late night bar for punching a woman. Now this latest arrest. He also never made grades at WVU. Academic issues, character issues, criminal issues....ouch! Only a loser franchise with no championship would draft him. He can’t cover and won’t be in NFL long anyway. The arrest will only hurt him more.
