Their fans are really creepy , TU Facebook page has an advertisement on ticket sales this year and most of the comments are ou fans talking about how they are going to smoke us
Nope , but Ou fans are a different kind of obnoxious, I have enjoyed my break from ou fans since 2015….This your first run in with state school fans? They’re all like that…
What better way to get it started then a TU victoryOU is about to be an afterthought in football.
Jackson Arnold will be starting by game 3..Just remind them of Dillon Gabriel’s record against us.
B/c the most popular QB on campus is the back-up. Won't matter who the QB is if the defense doesn't get any betterJackson Arnold will be starting by game 3..
Kevin Wilson laughs in the face of dangerB/c the most popular QB on campus is the back-up. Won't matter who the QB is if the defense doesn't get any better
Meh. I enjoy OSU fans a lot more than OU fans.Wait until you find out about OSU fans. They are even worse.
Probably still isn’t as bad as when Texas and ou fans get together like they are in this….Wait until you find out about OSU fans. They are even worse.

Always down for a little tip nipping.OSU fans. They have no expectations. They want to be great but ultimately, realize they are always just going to nip the tip.
Jeff and Jeff jr. were diehard ou fans"Arlen sucks and Wichita Falls rules! You know why? Cuz in 5 minutes you can be in the great state of Oklahoma!"
Read this as “Diarrhea OU fans”Jeff and Jeff jr. We’re diehard ou fans
Gotta give OSU fans credit though... most of them have a legitimate connection to the school that extends past their season tickets..Wait until you find out about OSU fans. They are even worse.
Ya the ou ( Joe exotic university ) fans have infested the TU page where it is promoting season ticketsGotta give OSU fans credit though... most of them have a legitimate connection to the school that extends past their season tickets..
And I bet that 98% of those doing the infesting have never taken a single class at ou.Ya the ou ( Joe exotic university ) fans have infested the TU page where it is promoting season tickets
Most Sooner fans couldn't find Norman using Google Maps. And I bet that 98% of those doing the infesting have never taken a single class at ou.
They can , but they have to ask to borrow the manager from the trailer park office if they can borrow their phone since they can’t afford a smart phoneMost Sooner fans couldn't find Norman using Google Maps.
attended the school of hard knocks” or “prue hs class of ‘82”Made the mistake of looking at the comments. My god some of those people are dumber than a sack of gravel.
I know there are plenty of good, knowledgeable ou fans out there, but some of these folks who have trouble with spelling and sentence structure give ou a pretty bad look as they talk mad dookie on TU.
You always know you’ve got a winner on your hands when they have some stupid shat on their profile like “attended the school of hard knocks” or “prue hs class of ‘82” with a rusted out beater in their cover pic or they have the exact same pic of themselves in their cover pic and their profile pic.
Truly a special breed of Oklahoma’s best and brightest.
And to be fair I’m not just picking in ou fans, osu fans are just as dumb if not worse due to their inferiority complex.
I don't think we need to disparage gravel by comparing it to some OU fans. The gravel works hard and for a pretty thankless jobMade the mistake of looking at the comments. My god some of those people are dumber than a sack of gravel.
As a friend of mine says, "If you own OSU gear you have a connection; If you own the OU gear you have a local Wal-Mart...."Gotta give OSU fans credit though... most of them have a legitimate connection to the school that extends past their season tickets..
I always liken it to Sean Connery in the Untouchables... "you said you are an OSU cowboy...., Who would claim to be that, who was not?"As a friend of mine says, "If you own OSU gear you have a connection; If you own the OU gear you have a local Wal-Mart...."
That is a great movie...I always liken it to Sean Connery in the Untouchables... "you said you are an OSU cowboy...., Who would claim to be that, who was not?"
There are plenty of wonderful fans who support teams of colleges/universities they didn’t attend. That’s fine and no one (in their right mind) has a major issue with that… what folks have an issue with are those fans who have been rude, obnoxious, hostile, ignorant, and outright mean for no real reason other than they’re interacting with someone who is wearing a different color shirt. Most of us have experienced this first hand and probably more than once.I don’t understand the animosity toward fans who support a school they never attended. I never went to TU and have only been on campus for Roughneck soccer, a graduation and a couple of basketball games (I moved to Nevada before the Reynolds Center opened) and I probably attend more games (away) and contribute more to the Champions fund than 90% of TU graduates including some on here.
Which is why it is so frustrating to lose to them, especially OSU. It seems like no matter how bad OSU is in a given year, we are just slightly worse. I get so tired of my friends, "hey...y'all played a really good game. You should be proud of how you did." GrrrrrrI think a lot of people do this, but we need many many more… unfortunately the attitude that we’re less than that permeates from some of those fanbases inhibits this through group think, but it’s something that we have to continue chipping away at… oh and we also have to win from time to time![]()
^This. Whenever we go to watch another game, we aren't wearing TU stuff unless it's a team that also has blue as their color.I dont have a problem ... other than those fans that show up in other teams colors when they are in in Skelly Stadium....
I think this must depend on school. A shocking number of Iowa and Wisconsin alumni seem to define themselves by being Hawkeyes or Badgers. Maybe it's some combo of being a better than average school with great culture and good but not great athletics to keep some of the hangers on away.Alabama has spent millions studying/trying to promote greater merchandise sales amongst its alumni. The breakdown between what the average Alabama fan spends on licensed merchandise versus what the average Alabama alumni spends on merchandise is pretty jaw dropping. On average basically every alum owns one piece of licensed merchandise like a polo or purse strap or license plate and that’s it. Lifetime. Whereas the average Alabama fan will purchase four to five items per year. So much for school pride.
Choosing to associate with a good school strikes me as pretty different than choosing to associate with OU or OSU. If I want people to think I'm a Bosefus, I could just stop brushing my teeth and quit having the barber cut the back of my hair, it's cheaper than buying OU or OSU gear. It's not so easy to have people think I'm a smart snob, that requires an investment in TU paraphernalia.I don’t understand the animosity toward fans who support a school they never attended.
