Why is Riley winning the coin toss and receiving instead of deferring?
He was a split second too early. I like the aggressiveness and the big hit sends a message. I am OK with it.
Has he lost all confidence in Rattler throwing downfield? First play pass to the flat...when you haven’t stretched the D yet? And those goal line flat passes only work with a pick by the crossing receiver. And ffs, run the pattern INTO the end zone, not 3 yards short. Riley not on top of his play calls today (becoming a pattern).

Rattler looking downfield and going thru his options all while stepping up
in the pocket. We missed that last year. Rattler starting to gain confidence in this game
hopefully it rubs off on Riley and he keeps the hammer down,

I'm a big fan of Washington and think he should be getting alot of playing time
Sad thing is, he had four receivers out left and only two DBs out there to cover them and he chooses to pass to the right. Mis-reads all over that play. He’s got those Freshman mistakes he needs to learn from.
Even more of a reason to not tackle the receiver before the ball gets there. But he’s never looking for the ball. The other DBs are doing much better this week.
So is Rattler hurt or got pulled? Riley never pulled Hurts last year after some of his atrocious play and turnovers

Based upon both teams' play, we need to call this year's version The Red River **** Show.
I think Rattler needs to start the 2nd half. Mordecai damn near threw 2 picks and recovered his own fumble.
In fairness the D has played pretty good but the offense has really put on a **** show with the turnovers. Toby Roweland said it best “ OU should be up big”.
Well, the last 2 weeks left us a little shell shocked. But, that long last drive is just what we needed to be fresh in the 4th.
