Mateer looked like a different player on that drive. After his first half, im not sure I'd have much faith putting the game on his shoulders. I think that's why they're calling these plays...to get him some rhythm and slow down the um pressure. They looked good on that scoring drive.

..an unranked team from another conference. Forget the fact that they should be 0-1 coming into this game. Not saying either team sucks, but ou has been being talked up and i just don't see it yet.
At Michigan? Lol - dude was trolling.

Oregon almost lost to Boise at home and are one of the early favorites to win it all. Week 1 could be shakey.

We better hope Texas wins
Why? The whole SEC vs Big Ten narrative has grown tiresome. ESPN has been relentlessly jamming that angle down our throats, and it’s conned people into thinking it matters when it really doesn’t.

Personally, I refuse to accept that I now must cheer for teams from Texas and Oklahoma just because they joined a conference as part of a cynical money grab.

Yeah they look over rated so far. Doesn’t mean they can’t turn it around but my other friends who are UofL fans have said they were overrated coming into the year for them so it’s not just our bias.

I think Will Stein was more important to Oregon than people were letting on. They don’t look very good against an 0-1 Oklahoma St. team. Dante Moore looks like ***.
Coaching staffs matter. Look at Clemson after they lost so many coaches, it’s a new era but they haven’t looked the same since. New England Pats got gutted year after year and even the great Belichick started faltering.

Oklahoma and Oregon seem to be over rated at the beginning of this season.
I’m calling Ohio State over rated too. 3-4 losses for the buckeyes

Every game is different but to me...Bama is better than OU. We're leading Bama at the half and we've outplayed them. We'll see how this game and the season play out but we look pretty good, to me.

Oregon gave up like 500 yards of offense today. Losing their DC looks like it also mattered.

Never should have given Venables that contract extension. Offense has looked lost since he came.
