Emory needs to avoid the foul line most of the time early. I can't Banks was declared eligible this early, thats record time for a federal court. I hope it is not a temporary judgement, hadn't had time to look at the ruling. Lawal just doesn't feel smooth like those expectations are making him think about it too much. Hope he hops out of this henky thing pretty quickly.

Definitely some potential out there but they don’t look as good as last year’s team did at this point. This team really doesn’t tell us much as they are totally outmanned.

I don't think they look better or worse than last years team, this early. I think we haven't seen enough of them together with everybody playing except Johnson. I just hope we bring forsythe along gradually against better competition. He will be good eventually.

I think when we get almost everybody playing together for an extended time we will gel more as a team, and be pretty good. I wonder what illness Johnson has. It seems like an awfully long illness.

Forsythe’s stroke looks good.
I've seen him twice now. He was eaten alive by the OSU quickness and turned it over a lot but played lights out against Ottawa where there was little quickness. So at this point I would have to say his effectiveness depends on the level of the opposition but he definitely can shoot the ball and plays aggressively. Johnnie Gendron would be a good comparison.

I didn't think he got eaten alive at all against OSU. I thought he made the obvious freshman mistakes especially since his first game was on the road in Stillwater. I thought he was our only guard that game that was able to consistently penetrate the paint. I'm pretty sure 2 of his 4 turnovers came from him trying to pass while in the air instead of taking a contested lay up
