I'm surprised they feel the need to deride another program considering how all other coaches and fans are jealous of Memphis these days...

This is why I don't buy into conference pride ******** of rooting for the SEC because they loathe us and live to see us lose! I've lived in many different states in the SEC and can vouch for this being true. Would they be rooting us on for another Final 4? Hell no!

May as well say you're rooting for Louisville because they're in-state or DOOK because they're in the United States. What the hell does any of that have to do with UK? We don't need other schools or fans to validate us. I'm speaking in general on opposing fans, not solely Memphis.

I had an ex-coworker that is a big IU fan text me yesterday after the game and say "Good Game". He hasn't mentioned basketball for several years until yesterday. It was obvious that he was doing it to piss me off. I didn't respond to that nor did I respond to the several technical questions that he asked after. Bastard.

Sounds a lot like this board. There was more joyful posting on here about Duke's loss than there was disappointment about our own loss.

The Memphis fans were like crazy jilted ex-girlfriends/boyfriends on this board in 2010. It was embarrassing.

It’s gonna be hilarious next season when Memphis finishes 18-13 and 4th place in the AAC. They might get an NIT bid.
