Over the years, I've tried to only make OTD posts to celebrate really momentous events.
With the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, a lot of events that pre-dated the DOI are celebrating their 250th anniversary. I've decided to make OTD posts a little (possibly a lot) more frequently than I normally do. They will mostly focus on events that lead up to the American Revolution, or events that took place during the American Revolution (even if they are not celebrating their 250th anniversary).
The events I'm celebrating for having taken place on this date were pretty momentous. I'm simply using this posting to also indicate the change in my normal process.
