OT: YouTubeTV and sec network+

I am cord cutting and going to go with either YouTubeTV or sling I think.

With YouTubeTV, can I log into the ESPN app and watch games that are on sec network+? I know a lot of our baseball games are on sec network+ and want to be able to watch those.

I ask because I saw a thread from September that said YouTubeTV subscribers no longer had access to ESPN3 games on the app, but I know there is a distinction between ESPN3 and sec network+.

Yes. Just choose YouTube TV as your provider and enter login info. I watched the girl's game on it last night.

Was curious about this too. We got an Apple TV today and we're going to make the switch from Google Fiber TV (cable) to YouTube TV at the end of the month. Anxious to see how it goes...

I'm also an AppleTV user and I've had YouTubeTV since it came out and it's been great. From a Mississippi State fan perspective, you get all the sports channels and access to the online stuff (SECN+, ESPN3) thru the ESPN app. The picture quality is top notch and the DVR is unlimited. The only thing I could gripe about would be there is no clock showing the current time in the guide of the YouTubeTV app.

Good to hear. The only thing that has kept us from making switch earlier was my second screen habits (keeping up with Twitter real-time during CFB) and the other channels we casually watch (HGTV, MTV's The Challenge—don't judge). Now that we have a second kid and our viewing habits have changed dramatically (can't devote as much time to watching CFB from 11 am to 1 am), we're finally cutting the cord.

I just dropped Dish two months ago.
I went with YouTube TV through a ROKU.
I have been very pleased. Really didn’t loose anything as far as channels.
Just gotta learn how to drive again (remote).

Picked up a ROKU Express from Best Buy. (One for each TV). $20-something each. Pretty easy to set up.
Like I said once you get the navigation down, it’s good.
Dish was about $150 a month. YouTube TV $50 (something) a month.

If you have any tv's that are not smart tv's with apps you will need a roku or fire stick. There are other devices but these are the 2 most common.

If you don't want to go the roku, apple, or amazone route, google chromecast is an option. Put the youtube tv app on your phone and cast directly from it to your TV.
