Last night was wild. I think Kayce and John are alive but unsure about Beth. I also do think Jimmy is still alive. They've spent a lot of time building his character to just kill him like. Season 4 is going to have Rip going on a killing spree. My big question is how much Jamie is involved

I kept thinking that horse out in the pasture dying was a trap to get Rip out in the open. Rip may go full vigilante. The fact that Jamie didn’t ask a question after Rip called saying he couldn’t find any of them tells me, whether he set it in motion or not, Jamie knew what was happening. And that tells me Jamie is a dead man walking.

At least 2 of the 4 are not making it to next season. The lady from Cali is dead no doubt but her son survives, possible adoptive son for Rip and Beth who knows?

Also how much money does it take to have an army of mercenaries? It seems like everyone has this vast army of either skin heads or paramilitary operators at their disposal. Did I miss that lecture in college about the need for that in the corporate world?

I was seriously disappointed in it. There's so much indiscriminate killing now, that it's become silly. I think the writers have gotten carried away with it all last night.

Concur, get rid of John and the rest would sell; therefore why put such an obvious hit on all three, if Roark is behind it? That would point all suspicion on him.

Could Jamie have put the hit out on John and Roark (and the CEO lady) put the hit on Beth in unassociated efforts? Could the Indian driver be involved?

We really don't know what happened in Kacey's scene.

The hitmen in the van aren't going to get out and put some rounds in John's head? Do they not watch the Sopranos?

I think all four live, but if I had to bet on one not making it, it would be Jimmy. I can't stand Beth (no one would put up with that b*tch), so I hope she doesn't make it.

Jimmy is dead and good riddance. He’s a lovable idiot but damn, he’s one of the dumbest TV characters ever written.

I think Beth lives. Her work isn't done yet and there's too many lose ends to lose her now. Plus, they were careful to show her not too close to the box and shielded behind her assistant when it exploded. Agree John can't die because if he does, the others all sell and next season ends in one episode. But to get shot that many times and survive? That's a huge stretch - especially on a deserted stretch of road with no cell phone. But - the phone was in his shirt pocket over his heart. Sigh. And i agree about Jimmy. Jamie can also take a hike. He needs to relax and get over himself and everyone else. I do like Walker's character however. I'm thinking he ends up with a more prominent role somewhere. He seems to be the only honest person on the entire show. And i literally can't look at Roarke for more than about 3 seconds - something about that guy. Such a douche. The Governor - i could look at her alllll day long.

When I started the show I thought Kayce was boring, but the longer I watched, he became a favorite. One of the few genuinely “good” characters on the show.

As for Jamie, I’m in the extreme minority that doesn’t hate him. I actually kind of pity him. John Dutton was an abusive father figure toward him. Hell, he took Jamie’s dream job away from him and financed his opponent. That’s a major dick move. I’d be surprised if Jamie makes a full blown heel turn, considering he was just on a redemption arc a few episodes ago, working as a field hand, sleeping in the bunkhouse, and taking it all in stride. Something tells me that ultimately he chooses to be a Dutton again.

Thirdly, I just find it hard to believe that a multi billion corporation would go that route to get the resort put in. Brings way too much heat on them. I think it was set up to make us think it was 1/3 of these groups when it actually may be someone from left field.

I did a freeze frame on Kacey's office invasion. The shooter looked to have a fatigue jacket, similar to what the Indian driver was wearing when he shot the guy trying to rape Kacey's wife. Plus Kacey killed an Indian in the one of the first episodes, maybe revenge for that?

All the main characters will survive. Hell, John survive a clip of rifle bullets from a few yards away. Jimmy....he may be dead. Or soon to be.

Writing has been so obvious........Season 4 will be;

Rip, single handed, beats 100 armed skin heads with some ranch tool he has laying in the truck bed.
Beth walks around cussing everyone out and beats the other lady into the dirt.
John and Indians join forces to defeat corporation trying to take their land. They run off corporation.
John.....meetings, old sayings, gets the last laugh. Excommunicates Jamie from family.
Beth kicks in Jamies door. Has him crying in the fetal position. Beth becomes new AG.
Casey and wife..... boring. Doesnt matter.
