Columbia is about as interesting and fun as South of the Border.
I wonder if Charleston and Greenville paid them to write this... "we're all full here!"
I lived there in the late 70s and early 80s. It was congested then, but tolerable. When I visit my son down there now I have to psyche myself up to deal with the traffic.I wonder if Charleston and Greenville paid them to write this... "we're all full here!"
Charleston area traffic has gotten pretty congested and city planners are behind on making changes to improve traffic flow. Would be nice to see some slowing of the influx of people from the north.
I agree.Columbia is about as interesting and fun as South of the Border.
Same conditions here in Naples, FL!!I lived there in the late 70s and early 80s. It was congested then, but tolerable. When I visit my son down there now I have to psyche myself up to deal with the traffic.

First they build a new subdivison, then they add stop signs (which are an instant headache due to left hand turns that clogs the flow), then they add traffic lights, then turn arrows, then widen the roads; all which increases traffic on I-26/526......then rinse and repeat. Is this for bragging rights for who has the worst traffic?
It's all relative, but when one experiences a direct correlation between the increased congestion and numbers of new residents outbidding locals for homes for the past 10 years, don't have to like it.
