Well I've eaten 4,000 hot dogs in my life probably so yea I'd eat a Zerox Ribeye. Probably better for you than a McDonald's Big Mac.

There will come a day (probably a lot sooner than anyone thinks) that this is the only way meat is available.

Oh like you haven't eaten 4,000 hot dogs before. You're so cultured. Maybe you should teach a class at MSU.

Since we are talking about steaks, whenever you guys are in Starkville you need to hit up Welcome Home Beef. Excellent meat and they will have some of the more unusual cuts that you won’t find in a grocery store, Tri Tip, beef belly, pork belly, hanger steak, etc, and they have a food truck parked in the parking lot during lunch time.

Definitely a step up from Mac's Meat Market.

Highly doubt that. It’s so counterproductive to the whole “organic” movement anyway. Heaven forbid pesticide be used on a tomato but we will gobble up meet made in a lab?

I want animals to be treated right and I’d like to see us move away from factory farming but it’s hard to envision a day where no actual meat is consumed.

Plus like someone else said, hunting and fishing are not going away. Outside of buying steaks, I rarely eat meat that I don’t kill or catch myself. My freezer stays pretty well stocked with deer, turkey, ducks, doves and fish.

Or, just drive to the grocery store in Winona

I hope you’re right

But there are groups trying hard to end hunting

I'm OK with the replication of the food but the bowl too? Never liked the way they replicated everything.

Factory farming and domesticated row crops have their negatives but it feeds a ton of people who otherwise might bot be fed.

Yeah, I agree. I don’t mean to **** on factory farming, in particular animals, as i don’t really have a better solution. I wish there was a better way for it to be done but like you said there are a lot of people that have to be fed. In my opinion, the best way to reduce factory farming is more people hunting and fishing. Unfortunately, less people seem to be doing it.
