I’ve been looking into completely wireless headphones (think Apple AirPods) and am torn between the Bose SoundSport Free and the Jabra Elite Active 65t. Have any of you used either or used something else that you’d recommend?

Can't go wrong with Bose. I personally have iQ buds which are a combination ear buds, hearing aid, noise suppression and like them very well. The app actually gives you a hearing test to determine your hearing deficiencies and calibrates the buds to your hearing profile. I don't wear them as much as I should because they are so noticeable but I often bluetooth the TV to them so I'm not driving the wife crazy with the TV volume.

I have the Jabra Elite and the Elite Actives. They’re awesome. If I had to buy one again I would just buy the Elites. The differences between the two are almost imperceptible and the Elites are a little less.

The bass and the clarity of the iQbuds is better than any other buds that I have tried. It helps that they completely seal the ear canal instead of just sitting in the ear. I bought them more for the hearing aid aspect than the ear bud part. The only complaint I have with them is that they do not have a pure volume control for the hearing aid function, it has multiple settings for different environments but no way to just increase the volume of the hearing aid. The ear buds volume is controlled by the device being used. iQbuds also makes a version without the hearing aid option.

I have the Bose sound sports and they blow away everything else that's comparable. The buds hold a 5 hour charge, but they recharge in the case, which holds a 12 hour charge. I have no problem taking calls on them. And of course, they are Bose, so the sound is second to none. You're gonna drop 160-180 on them, but you won't be disappointed.

I have owned several pair of wireless ear buds (cheap to expensive) and they will never hold a candle to my Sound Sports.

My Bose noise-canceling headphones literally changed my life. I use them ALL the time. I had a pair of Sony NCH before this. I like Bose better...filtering can be customized...and they are holding up better...faux leather began to flake on my Sony's.

One of man's greatest inventions. I may step up to the wireless Bose over the ear headphones for my next purchase.

Another one for Bose Sound Sports. Use them for conf calls at the office, air travel, and running/exercising. Fit the ear good, have great sound, and stay charged all day. I have had them lose blue tooth connection randomly at times though, but not bad enough to warrant me trying something else.

I used to have the Powerbeats 2 and now on Powerbeats 3 wireless buds. They do have the wire between the two which doesn't bother me that much. I did look into the truly Wireless buds and didn't find anything that convinced me to buy something else. It sounds like the Bose have some pretty well-designed features that would make them worth trying. However, the Powerbeats 3 buds have amazing sound! Best bass in headphones I have ever heard. The noise cancelling is very good. Sound quality and clarity is impressive. But one of the best features is the battery life, it can go around 12 hours straight without a charge. I mainly wear these to the gym and can go two weeks or so without charging them. I see the merit in the whole case charger scenario for the truly wireless buds, but these things could literally last you all day listening to music or talking on the phone without taking them off for a charge. And they are very secure. Never feel like they're going to fall off and are very comfortable. I will say that the comments here have convinced me to try the Bose for my wife when she is ready for some new ones with no selfish interest in them myself of course...

I bought some over the weekend as an early Christmas present to myself. They are fantastic. My wife and child don’t think so though.

I had a pair of PowerBeats2 and then a pair of PowerBeats3. I wore them when running, and they sounded great. They each lasted about six months before they just stopped holding a charge.

Then I bought the jbl countor, and the sound is terrible. I’m probably going to return those today and start looking again.
