OT: Windows 10

There are a lot of computer buffs here so let me ask:

I recently had Windows 10 installed on my computer. I find that it's hard to get any response from using the back button, e.g. when I try to go from a posting back to the index. Is there any explanation or cure for this? The browser is Microsoft Edge, which supposedly works well with Windows 10.

I upgraded to Windows 10 and found certain random websites blocked. Any Yahoo news story that had a .ca in the address, many tech related sites, Pornhub. When I tried to go to Microsoft support and that was blocked, I said enough and rolled back.

You are not imaging it. Edge changed a whole bunch of things, including how the back button works. Edge has a lot of problems, I recommend not using it. The good news is IE is still on your computer, you just have to look for it. Or use firefox, etc.

Just install Firefox or Chrome. I have Chrome and everything is working fine for me.

prof otb has it i had the same maddening issues until i made google chrome the default browser
Also singularly get backspace back go back to the last restore point and it should return

I have 10 my laptop and it oft seems to have a mid of its own. The buttons seem to move around easily and the address if oft not accepted (tough to surf). That said I alsaoways recommend if pmne can afford to have different versons of Operating Systems and software on separate computers so that you can learn and have for on the job.

Just install Chrome. I never use edge for anything.

Win10 has been solid but we quickly put IE into the task bar as a prime browser and hid the Edge icon. I am sad to hear that Edge doesn't seem to have gotten better. I thought they would have made it smooth by now.

I am a chrome guy myself and when I need a 2nd browser opera, firefox or even chromium (an open-source not-google-linked version of chrome) works well.
