I was always a Gillette guy and then moved to Harry’s to give them a go. Liked the shave but the damn things are brittle as all get out. Maybe I hold on the razor like Jeff Sims but even the slightest drop would break the head. It happened to me 4 times, 3 of which were barely used razors.

Back to Gillette I go.

I’ve tried most of them. Got onto the Bic Flex Five and it has been my favorite for a close shave and longevity of blades. I don’t think I’ll try any others in the future. Super happy with them.

I use a ********. Gillette Pro Glide Power to be exact. I don’t know why it works so much better than others I’ve tried but it does. 🤷‍♂️

Straight edge on ballsack and face!
Kidding I'd have de-nutted myself and/or bled out by now. Gillette Mach 3

Safety razor or straight edge. All others are garbage and cost a fortune. Switch and you'll save a ton

Dorco. 6-blade mofo. Sharper than Gillette Fusion. Fusion beats in comfort, but not in closeness. Korean made blades for under $2.50 a cartridge. Been using them for 10+ years now. Got tired of $5+ a cartridge. I use one for close to a month. Replace it when I get a haircut.

For my face, or my balls?

Philips Norelco OneBlade FTW...for both.

I used a Shick Extreme disposable razor for about 30 years. Came in a 10 or 12 pack, costing about 50 cents per razor. Sharp blades, close shaves and lasted one week like clockwork, before I pitched them out.

Then one day I brought home a new pack, and the razors had dull blades and a useless pivoting head that serves no purpose. I looked online and apparently I was not the only one who had this experience. Some genius at Schick decided to replace a perfectly good razor with a totally crappy product.

Fortunately, I found something called the Schick Exacta on Amazon. Apparently it's sold mainly in Latin America. Ordered a pack and they were pretty close to my old favorite. Slightly differenet appearance, but fixed head with sharp blades that last about a week. Went back online and ordered about a two-year supply, in case they too disappear. I feel like one of those hoarders who stores canned goods in a Tuff Shed, preparing for the end of the World.

Shaving with a different razor is always weird.

Anyone ever get one of those old time straight razor cuts in a barber shop?

Bought a Schick injector razor 50 years ago and still use it. It has a dial that adjusts the jaws that I used to use to make the bite bigger to do my sideburns. But I never dial it anymore. You can't find injector blades at the store anymore, but can be found online. One blade lasts about 25 shaves and costs $1.70. The razor is from an era when stuff was made in America and built to last.
