I believe I saw that The Boys season 2 is dropping this week on Prime, so I guess that’s up next

Yes, it released on Friday the 4th.
Its amazing how much TV content I have ripped thru this year now that I catalog it all. We are more active as a family and yet I am also watching a ton more shows.

Hannah on Amazon is an interesting 2 season show too.
Dropping a season at once is bad for me- its consumed in only a handful of days and I move on like it never happened.

Alone.....it's one of those shows that just doesn't get old to me. I hope they keep making these series.

Spoiler alert. I had high hopes for the AF SERE instructor, but he was quick to tap out. If you're going to complete, you gotta be ride or die, don't let missing your family after 30 days do you in.

I hope they keep the ghosts in the background that they never talk about. Was pretty cool to watch and try and find them.

Need to watch the first season of Narcos Mexico before watching The Last Narc. Learn the public story of Kiki Camerana before learning the inside scoop on the Last Narc. Totally blew me away, and it is a very believable CT.

The Mexicans, or the CIA? The Mexicans were outrageously corrupt. The Attorney General worked for the cartels; the President and Vice-President were receiving kickbakcs. Army officers were getting paid, so that sometimes rival units of the Mexican Army were fighting each other over Cartel disputes. The Drug lords knew they wouldn't be arrested as long as they stayed out of the DEA crosshairs, and even then they would easily escape prison.

The question is just how corrupt were the CIA and DEA. The CIA was definitely selling cocaine in the US to fund the purchase of arms for the Contras. I had never heard of a Contra training camp in Mexico, but that would not be surprising in the least, if true.

Yeah I want to go back and watch the Kiki kidnapping episode again. I read where the producers were told about the DEA agent and Max being involved but they purposely left it out.

Yep, season 2 was definitely still better than the average Netflix show, and I enjoyed it. I guess it’s just that whereas I thought season 1 was like 9 out of 10 stars good, season 2 felt like more of a usual time filler.

I can’t really put my finger on the difference, but the first season was super intriguing. It was mostly slow burn reveals to each of the characters’ histories and powers, and there were plenty of twists and turns along the way. With the latest season, there was a little more of a goofy vibe to a lot of it, and the time jumping thing seems to always turn me off. I’m also not sure that they really pulled off the whole JFK assassination tie-in like they had hoped because the story kept bouncing around in different directions

Anyway, it was still a good season, and the setup to season 3 looks like it’s going to be good

I’ve been really disappointed in the new Twilight Zone as well, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but I’m starting to think that Peele is a tad overrated as a horror guru

Hell yes, I think they were taking drug money profits to fund private wars and Kiki stumbled on to it....all the while fighting a “war on drugs”. Not sure Reagan was aware. Makes you wonder what other atrocities our govt/The CIA has taken a part in.

the first thing I thought about was if they killed a DEA agent who knew too much....then 100 people killed JFK.

Watched season 3 of Ozark.
Think that was this year but damn it’s been a long year.
Bloodline is good.
Breaking Bad - Awesome series.
Outer Banks - better than I thought it would be.
Jeffrey Epstein series.
Dirty John - ok, wifey liked.
Another one but can’t think of name so must not have been too good.
Just starting Longmire - episode 7 meh so far. Hope it gets better.

Is Dirty John the same story of the true crime podcast? That was a great podcast.

Another thumbs up for Cobra Kai. I'm about 8 in and it is pretty dang good. 80s kids should love the references and music. They do a good job of making fun of some of the cheesy stuff in the original movie. Having Johnnie as the main focus was a good move. So far he is playing the character very well. Hopefully that doesn't change.

Longmire for now. Pretty good. Peaky Blinders and one not mentioned much here - Atypical. Good to watch with wife/family.

Reagan said he "did not recall" whether he had been informed of all this or not. (Not an Alzheimer's joke, that was literally his response under oath). George H. W. Bush was the former director of the CIA, so if he didn't know then it was only because he didn't want to be informed.

I think I posted this last year when I watched the series, but it feels wrong

to love Johnny and dislike Daniel (who was my hero when I walked out of the theater in '84), but that's my exact feeling after watching it. Maybe it's just good acting, but I get the feeling that the guy who plays Johnny was always typecast after the original, and this character sort of has a ring of truth to it for him in real life... which makes me like him and his comeback even more. Plus, Danny's grown up to be an *******.

My kids got me into Avatar: The Last Airbender. Really good for a Nickelodeon cartoon than came out after my childhood.
