OT: We are getting an epic rain in Madison

I usually don't pay that much attention to flash flood warnings but ****

Move your best pineapples to higher ground.

Yea it’s getting pretty bad. Yandell should be under water by now. It was getting close when I drove down it 20 minutes ago.

Yeah, the radar looked nasty around Jackson a little while ago. The Weather Channel showed some video from Jackson - looks pretty bad.

In my Madison, we're getting heavy rain but nothing like you're getting down there. We've had at least one partial road closure, but it's due to slow and sloppy road construction. We've had about 7-8" so far in the last week and a half.

[thatsbaseball]

We've had several inches in the last 24 hours and still pouring.

It’s a lot like that Christian Slater and Morgan Freeman movie. What was it called?*

[WrapItDog]

Rain gauges on the weather underground are showing close to 5" for the day around Madison

Hard Rain

[FreeDawg]

That dollar general will still be packed if they have to wade or paddle

[patdog]

Car just behind me in the left lane hydroplaned & hit the barrier in south Jackson. If he’d slid the other direction, he’d have clipped my rear end. Very heavy rain.

I'm building an ark in tupelo if anyone wants to help
