Absolutely excellent series.
Confusing as hell to start, but compelling enough to hook. And everything tied together very well so the confusion ultimately made sense.
I hope those who cried about disliking the racism angle in the beginning were able to put their annoyance aside and enjoy a fantastic series. The race storyline was pivotal to the overall story.

The first four episodes are “WTF IS HAPPENING” and then the last three it all comes together like a puzzle.

I look forward to watching it again knowing what we now know and see what all is out there. I thought Episode 8 did a tremendous job getting inside Dr. Manhattan's head and I thought it related spot on to the issue of the original series where we learned Jon's origin. That had to be a ton of work to pull off as well as they did it.

I thought it was cool how they incorporated Bass Reeves, the original “Lone Ranger” into the story.

Another funny tidbit, my mother has been saying for 30 years how she thought Robert Redford would make a good president.

Until this moment I didn't know Bass Reeves was a real person. I think it's crazy that the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot was a very real thing and I'd never ever heard of it. That thing sounds far worse than anything I ever heard of happening in the American South during the civil rights era.

He was quite a man. I’ve read when they got ready to turn the radio show Lone Ranger into the television show, being it was supposedly based on Bass, they weren’t gonna have an African American staring in a tv show in the late 40’s, so they put the black mask on him. Reeves has been credited with arresting over 3000 felons.

You may want to try again. The show goes in a completely different direction. I know several people who quit three episodes in and I was almost one of them. Finished tonight. Really liked it.

I thought Jeremy Irons, Tim Blake Nelson, and Regina King were great in it. Not typically my kind of show but I really enjoyed it.
