Ok, I did the whole early voting thing today. Does anyone know how much money we waste on those “I voted” stickers each election? I’m not a kindergartner anymore, I don’t need a sticker an neither do you.

Probably a fraction of a cent each. I think they are dumb too but maybe it reminds people to vote. I dunno.

Most are provided at no cost to taxpayers by the political parties, veterans groups, civic groups or election equipment vendors. But thanks for asking, Chris.

I'm going to stand outside my precinct and hand out the stickers so people can get them without waiting in line to vote.

This is a good point in my opinion. How much of tax payer dollars are given to tell me to go vote, or in this case "reward" people for voting? How much money is given to "select" stations for voting advertising? Every time I listen to supertalk, which isn't that much, I hear D. Hoseman telling people to vote. How much do those ads cost taxpayers that pay "friends" at supertalk and other like stations?

Pretty accurate for most elections, do I choose the douche or the turd sandwich?
Are you kidding me!?! This conversation gets me so upset. I understand if you are disenfranchised but come on. It’s a TURD SANDWICH. Don’t get me wrong. I do not like the douche. But we cannot let a Turd Sandwich represent us. In the words of the immortal P Diddy, “Vote or Die”.

I'm more pissed about the gov'ment spending money on ads in stadiums showing highway commissioners getting on elevators. 3 different ads shown in 3 stadiums wearing gear from 3 different schools. Why the hell does the state need to advertise highway commissioners when our roads and bridges suck so much?

I bet you’re the type that gets mad at stadium flyovers because it’s a waste of taxpayers dollars.

If the government buys stickers (I don't think they do), they spend $8,000 on stickers and $28,932,427.96 on the study of which design is most effective.
