You know what? Strike while the iron is hot. Vandy is a damn fine school in a damn fine city, Nashville. Now theyre the SEC school a family from up here should send their kids.

Posted that in last week’s games thread wondering what it was and @Rutgers Chris clarified what it was.

Hey, good for Vandy. Great school, can gain a footprint with Northeast kids who either want to go to NYC or Nashville. I respect their ambition.

Didn't someone tell them Syracuse owns NYC and for them to set up in Hartford :)

Smart…you should want to draw academic talent from many parts of the country. In Texas I have seen ads and some billboards for Pace, SUNY and Temple

Vandys accept rate is 4.7%. They have no problem drawing academic talent.
Boy that went right over you didn’t it? Their high standards are not in question. Maybe, just maybe, they are looking to expand their geographic footprint to include talent outside their normal radius that also fits their practically mythical 4.7% acceptance rate. Wouldn’t that be something. If they have chosen to spend $$ advertising this far from Nashville, it is for a reason.
