Am I the only one not all that impressed? I mean, it’s a semi-cool video but dozens of schools (if not more) produce the same thing for recruits. Nothing special here.
I'd like to see the committment video of the women's crew team recruits (Aunt Becky's daughters) that bought their way into USC a few years ago.

USC has never had trouble recruiting great Safeties, or players at every other position with or without a video.

And a recruiting video is not among the top 50 reasons why.
The recruiting video is part of a larger effort to show recruits that they will have an experience at USC which is 2nd to none. They will have access to the best coaches, the best facilities, and ultimately the best experience. They are doing a good job of selling to top notch recruits.

Better yet was when Brian Kelly started using a Louisisana accent when he was 1st hired down there.
And when has USC ever been known not to pay for or get top talent? You act like this is something new.
They've always brought in talent. USC has been stacking up elite talent like cordwood since the '60s when John McKay was the coach. Potential recruits are more impressed with the multiple Heisman winners and NFL Hall ofFamers that have played there.
And in 2023 they were 8-5/5-4 after Lincoln Riley made a nice splash in 2022.
2021: 4-8/3-6
2019: 8-5/7-2
2018: 5-7/4-5
Not the stuff of top shelf talent.

I haven’t been watching Finebaum the last few weeks. The SEC owns the College World Series, and their coverage of the SEC Media days are a cure for insomnia. The Big Ten Network could use a show like Finebaum’s. The guy, whether you like him or not, is a great interviewer and lands great guests. The cast of regular callers is mind-numbing, but you have to admire their dedication and love of their teams. I rarely watch the Big Ten Network. The folks running it have no imagination and don’t have the kind of dedicated audience that the SEC Network has.
OP has had some serious lapses of judgement regarding what is cool .. Like his creepy Savon Huggins Lulabye - then again, we did get Savon....OP is easily impressed.
Same. 10 years in and I barely watch the Big Ten Network outside of games. I used to watch the ACC Channel just for the Mark Packer show. Always loved his radio show on SiriusXM College channel back in the day. Finebaum is a troll but as you said he is a great supporter of his conference and interviewer.
