I live and work Charlotte...what are the cheapest/easiest ways to get there for the game? (beyond a direct flight from clt to tally)

I guess thats where I'm confused.
I live an hour south of Charlotte.

I've driven it twice, it takes about 6 hours.
It's ~380 miles each way.

So 20 gallons of fuel and 12 hours total. We've driven down Saturday AM for night games, stayed in a hotel and driven back Sunday morning. Its an easy weekend. Hell of a lot easier than Miami, which Ive done the same for...

I lived in Cairo, GA (20min above Tally) for 7 years. My home is in southern Laurens County. It's an easy drive I've done 40+ times. Even if I was super rich I would still drive there. By the time you drive to Atlanta/Gville and go through all the airport stuff in two airports you are not really not saving much time. It's a 5.5 - 6.5 hour ride depending on route and how many kids or females are with you. Just drive it.

Drive it. I drove there every weekend for 3 months from Anderson, SC. It takes approx 5.5 - 6.0 hours, with nearly 1/2 of the drive on I-85.
