Perhaps overlooked in the Charlie Jones transfer to Purdue was the transfer of little-used WR Tyrone Tracy from Iowa to the Boilermakers. Well, for those who haven't been paying attention, here's an update:

After Jones was one of the leading WR in the country last year with over 100 receptions, Tracy is now the featured RUNNING BACK at Purdue. For the season he has 46 carries for 288 yards, 6.3 average, and five TDs. He also has 8 receptions for 27 yards. Yesterday alone, against the vaunted Illinois defense, Tracy rushed 21 times for 112 yards (5.3 per carry) and a TD. And not only that, Tracy also has a 95-yard KO return for a TD this season.

So you can see why an offense Iike Iowa's couldn't find a way to get Charlie Jones or Tyrone Tracy on the field. They were too damn good.

KF & BF are just too damn stubborn, or stupid. You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix ....STUPID. KF really has this program on hold. There is just no progression. One notably thing that is missing......is speed. I catch glimpses of other games, and those teams seem to have a lot more speed than Iowa has. Why would a WR come to Iowa.....all they do is block. (albeit) they dropped some passes last night....gotta bring them in.

Well, apparently Tracy couldn't help them enough to help them beat Wisconsin...losing for the 20 time in a row or whatever it is....sometime in 1990s.

Not that it matters, but I think Iowa wanted TT to play RB and he did not wish to do this.

What vaunted defense? You do realize this years Illinois D is NOTHING like last years. They are giving up 180 yards per game on the ground, 4.61 ypc this year.

Tracy was a non-factor on Saturday. How do you explain that. Guesss thei HC didn’t want speed on field!!

Tracy has been doing quite well this year until Saturday. I think he might have been kind of dinged up against Iowa
