Today, we had 5 confirmed and 12 reported tornadoes. One hit a block away from my job at the Sam's Club. I came upon this 18-wheeler that the storm had thrown sideways into some trees on a roadway between Walmart and Sam's Club here in Grapevine. After I saw this truck blocking my roadway, I pulled over into the Walmart and took this pic. Then I called 911 to report it.

This photo was sent to me by a Sam's Club employee. That a/c unit used to be on the roof!

I saw some corrugated metal sheets along Hwy 114 in Southlake and now after you posted these pictures, they probably came from Sam's Club.
A friend in my Bible study lives in Colleyvillle and had some large trees ripped out and lots of roof damage.
We got 1/2" of rain here in Trophy Club but no wind damage. Decatur got hit too.

How did you come out of it?
We were lucky as our home was still standing. We had a 100,000 damage though, but most our neighbors not so lucky. My neighborhood was hit by the tornado that ripped through Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky last year. It was the longest traveled tornado in US history with wind speeds up to 190 they estimated.

Glad to hear that man. Whenever I see stuff like that, I always wonder how I would respond in that situation. No one really knows till they live through it I guess. Anymore it's not hard to get to 100K. We had hail damage from a storm and had 65K damage.

It was brutal and happened at 10 PM to make it worse. Its actually in the new Netflix series on storms. A town next to us had a factory collapse on 100 people working. It was crazy.

Kept the kids home from work/school while these things rolled through... we were lucky as there were a bunch around us Brock, Lipan and one closer to Willow Park... Glad to hear my fellow North Texans are ok...

Scary stuff. I lived in Keller for several years and never had one touch down but damn if we didn’t get some massive hail from time to time.

Yeah, I have an average sized ranch house and just the roof was almost 20k after hail this summer. Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of 90mph winds in SE Nebraska. Crazy weather.
