Whoever did the cheesesticks at The Grill back in late 90s needs to be on it.

Nothing better than a cold Michelob and Cheese Sticks at The District in 1988. I wonder what happened to Big Jim?

Can't remember what Jim's last name is. Those cheese sticks and chicken tenders were something else.

Pretty sure Jim passed away several years ago. He started Oxford Falls sauces and dressings. Never understood why the name!!!

Because “Oxford is a ******** and I hope their team falls flat on their face, like Beau Wallace, in every event in which they participate” won’t fit on the bottle.

strangely they don’t sound as good now as I thought they were then.

I used to eat them for dinner. Main course. Makes my stomach hurt to think about.

This is the most Sixpack thread ever. A local chef is on Top Chef and the entire thread immediately derails into cheese stick love and Oxford hate.

Nick advanced by the way and for the record, Flo and Eddie's had the best cheese sticks in town.

All it really needs is for Goat to tell us how Chef doesn't know **** about cooking, a post on rehiring Stansbury, and for somebody to ***** about Copenhagen prices.

Egg wash, Panko crumbs, double dipped, frozen overnight before frying so they hold together better. I just buy the mozzarella string cheese snacks because they’re already the right shape and size.

Flo's didn't have the patio like the Grill. Too many afternoons in the spring before baseball games drinking those super-sized draft beers and eating chicken and fried cheese on the patio. Andy from Carthage would be working the bar.

Flo's had a deck out back. Remember working construction in West Point one summer sweating my *** of and hitting Flo's every evening sitting out back.

Flo's > Grill in almost every way other than longevity.

No one has trashed Little Dooey, Obey's or other Starkville instructions or a current/former player yet.
