Heading out to AZ in April. Looking to drive from Phoenix down to Tombstone/Tucson area. Probably spending a night there so we’ll have the better part of 2 days to tour the area. Any recommendations for things to do / places to stay would be appreciated.

Drive by my old house where I grew up as a kid in the 70s. That's all I have since I haven't been there since 78.

There is this

Nothing to do at night so being a good book. There is a gunslinger show. It's a touristy town an experience. The biosphere is not too far.

I second the Senora ourdoor museum. Very cool place with every animal you would find in the state of Arizona.

There is also a western movie set used for movies 75 years ago:

Boot Hill and the saloon were cool (went in 1989 so it may be very different now). Always like to check out the big universities when I can.

Was walking around Nashville years back and the end of Vandy stadium was wide open and NOBODY anywhere around. Wife got a few nice pictures of me just standing on the field.

I played for the Tucson Toros….AAA ball.
Old Tucson was a cool place to visit.
Watch out for Scorpions if you have little ones.
