OT: TicketMaster Eagles

So i had presale code for Eagles at MSG. Was never offered a seat less than $300. Many offerings were $500 to $1500.

I refuse to pay these type of prices. Any ideas how to get a seat less than $200?

Oh yeah the fees are crazy as well.

They're just as bad. One thing I can recommend and its a small savings but something is use one of those browser extensions (Cap. One or Rakuten) which will give you auto savings like 2% on top of any credit card rewards.

You can go see an Eagles tribute band for just a few bucks and get a much better product.

Wait until a day or two or three before the gig
Lots of prices drop (including Swift) just before the gigs.
Places like Stubhub will sell cheaper
The more shows at a venue the better the chances of cheap tickets floating up.
Check regularly.

I got tickets to the Sept 8 concert at msg in the 200s row 11 for $211 each including fees through ticketmaster.

What @ashokan said above worked for us for Springsteen. Wait a week or less before the concert, and cheaper tix should come available.

2012 the new Revel Casino advertised a promotional drawing every hour for tickets to an upcoming Eagles event in September . A guy I know I was excited to hear his name drawn. His glee turned to anger when he saw that his tickets were for a concert at Revel instead of a football game.
