Gotta love what Todd has given this series and the wildcard. His baserunning instincts have been amazing

I'll give you credit for your well-placed confidence, but why do you at this point wanna bring up those losers from Queens ?

Typical obnoxious Yankee fans
So utterly classless that they can't even enjoy victory without trashing the Mets... those losers who were in the postseason two out of the last three years.
GO ASTROS!!!

This is why someone call Mets losers. Comes to a Yankee thread to cry like a baby.
Heres a finger for you.

Congrats to all the Yankees and Yankee fans on last night. Playoffs not over so still keep doing whatever you're doing vs Houston.

I still can't believe all the hate Girardi gets but whatever. Should be a hell of a series next two weeks.

As a Mets fan I am rooting for the Yanks for one reason. So the Maryland game gets moved back to OUR stadium for OUR HOME GAME!!! Go Yanks!

Is this possible? I haven't looked at the potential World Series schedule. Would it conflict?

No, not possible. World Series game 7 would be held November 1st, Rutgers Maryland is Nov. 4th

yeah, the grass ought to be real solid with 3 days to grow into the soil/stabilize. would be like the first game played where it was coming up left and right if this timing happens.

Without any rain outs, the last possible game in Yankee Stadium would be WS Game 5 on Oct 29

As a Yankees fan I never understood people who put down the Mets. Just leave them be and watch the Yankees.

You obviously don't know some of the Mets fans I do...or have known over the years.
I will admit that not all Mets fans are losers. There are some here that have shown a level of intelligence and fairness that I feel obliged to acknowledge.
I honestly didn't bump into many like that in 1969 or 1986. And, of course Mets fans were real scarce in 2000.

Congrats to the Yanks! I am a Met's fan but if the Met's aren't playing the Yankee's I always root for the Yankees as well. The moment the Yankee's are out of it, I most likely won't watch a single game after it.
BTW- I still can't get my head to actually believe the Astro's are an american league team.
Lol I'm with you the Astros belong in the National league

If that were to happen they should just play with the dirt infield less opportunity for injury

Indians choked big time. CC 9 k's in less than 5 innings? wow. Ties his season high in 2 less innings. And actually he only k'd more than 6 two times all year. How many K's looking?

JRam and Lindor did nothing in the series except the one homer Lindor had. Kluber was awful.

Yankee starters have been excellent....now we need a big game from Severino.

I'm not a big baseball fan and I don't pretend to understand what it takes to build a championship team. All I know is that the NY Yankee as an organization is light years ahead of everyone. As a NY Mets fan it pains me to admit this fact.
