This was interesting as I knew nothing about streamers on flags. As an AF vet, I'm of the opinion that a branch of the service shouldn't have a streamer from before it's inception. So the Army can have streamers from when the aviation services were a part of it. Those for the USAF should start from 1947. In the larger scheme of things, however, I don't give a ****.
