Well the Spectacle this year features Rihanna, so there will be some interesting visuals going on, which isnt a bad thing. I’ve had an ongoing joke with my sons that the bands I loved listening to took longer to get in tune than the length of the 12 minute Super Bowl halftime thing. Anyway I wanted to link one of my favorite comedians thoughts on the halftime show which I find funny and honest.

Way back I remember "In Living Color" timed their show to begin at halftime for a year or twin. The Wayans brothers were more interesting than the halftime show
Going to be another awful show. No need to watch it. Hasn't been a good one in many, many years.

Jets had Florida A&M band and some HS bands
Giants in 86 had "We The People" dancers
Giants in 90 had Pete Fountain, Nichols State University Marching Band & SMU marching bands

Bad lip sync job. Otherwise, the performance is OK, not great. Average for Super Bowl show.
You know why i think music is dead...its getting harder to find an act to play..not many stars and the real ones are dead and older than 70
The show is ok. I just don’t think any halftime show is needed.
Pop music became garbage in the late 90/early 2000s and never recovered.
Id like to see Dolly Parton next year with Carrie Underwood...Countryfest

She sang some of her old hits. Wasn’t bad imo. I could do without the 100 dancers.
Preceded by the anal itch, then the scratch and sniff.
Thought the platforms were a pretty cool touch.
Too much sound track and mic effects. Couldn’t tell how her voice was.

Crappy show with bad lip syncing when you don't even have the mic up to your mouth when you should....All those dudes in the hazmat suits were the whole show. She made a ton of money off the NFL with her Fenty Super Bowl line she is hawking. Probably only reason she agreed to do the show.Fenty Super Bowl Merch
