OT - stock market update.

You guys who are still invested have me to thank when the Dow breaks 30,000 later this week. Just sold 40% of my mutual funds and putting in cash today. I'll get the benefit of today's rebound, so that's good. I've never been this much out of the market in my life. I'll reinvest gradually over the next 6 months. I really think this panic is ridiculous, but will get worse before it gets better. We'll see.

For those who have a medium to long term investing life, the U.S. equities are

still the best place to be for growth. Emerging markets have been a huge bust, and the U.S. is back in the top 5 innovative economies in the world after a brief hiatus. Couple that with energy independence and a population that is on a steady upward incline and the recent stock selloff should be viewed as a dinner bell.
