I’m glad you mentioned Juan Lafonta. This is for those of you who don’t live in south ms/south la.

I was tricked in to goin. To a Big Freedia concert in downtown Shreveport about a month ago. Nothing but twerking and *** jiggling. Was quit entertaining

Not sure why the only George Sherman Clothier's commercial is buried on its facebook page, but here you go:

Dave’s had some iconic commercials. Apparently many of which ran for years and year. Seems like I remember Oby’s having a pretty bad one with a talking alligator or something.

Dave’s had some weird *** commercials in a dark lit room with a guy on a piano talking about tickling ivories. Seemed like a stoner commercial, which makes sense because stoners love Dave’s.

I just remember the terrible jingle at the end of Oby’s commercials... “THATTTSSS OOOBBBYYYYY’SSSS WAYYYY”

She's still on WTVA every Sunday morning around 6:30 or 7:00. I can't resist stopping and watching a few minutes every time I scroll past it. They were doing The Mornin Show in the early 80's when I first moved to Starkville.

ALso, Dick Rice still does weather occasionally when someone is on vacation or they have a hurricane or some other weather related event. He is listed as "Weatherman Emeritus", he was there in the early 80's as well and hasn't changed a bit since then and I thought he was old then.

Yeah, well where I grew up in south MS, I-59's exit 69 used to be for Eatonville Rd. but has since been changed to some woman's name I noticed last time I passed through. Either way, it's still a **** hole.
