That Richmond kid is a solid big guard. Plays under control, Rutgers did a good job with him. Was it mostly mag covering him? Davis? Or was it more of a group effort keeping him from taking over?

SHU wins 75-60. This is a great outcome for SHU and for us. Our road win against Seton Hall is looking pretty good right now.
Maybe not the greatest communicator, but Holloway is an outstanding basketball coach, better than his mentor. Outside of Richmond, SHU is pretty short on talent.

Funny.. i always joke to my wife (SHU grad) about Holloway communication skills but he is a good basketball coach.

50 seconds to go with SH up 17 and the refs stop to check the possession after missing the obvious foul on the hall kid lol.

I went and looked back at Spencer’s games here last year and he had some really good games and really bad. Take a look at some of these numbers against power 5 schools

1-10 3 points loss Miami
1-5 3 points win Indiana
2-7 4 points loss Seton Hall
3-14 8 points loss Mich st
1-7 3 points win Penn St
1-8 7 points win mich st
1-5 2 points loss Illinois
3-11 8 points loss Nebraska
2-5 9 points loss Northwestern

Yes he had some really good shooting games but those numbers were historically bad and we lost most of them. I actually was surprised at how many poor offensive games he had

Live by the 3, die by the 3. It's been known to happen from time to time

Richmond got his against you guys - 21 and 9. The biggest problem for SHU was that Dawes may as well have been wearing red with which team he was helping more.

Cam is still slow and can't stop his mamb from scoring. If Cam scores 15, his guy scores 15 or more. So he is not all that helpful. Plus he disappeared offensively many times. A loss but not earth shaking.

I don’t think his defense is that bad but many posters actually think he is a great defender and that is not the case either.

Sha coached an excellent game. And he’s now laid out the blueprint to beating UConn — play bully ball with their guards. Cam, Newton, Ball, Castle couldn’t handle the physical play.

Sha can definitely coach. I actually think he is a better coach than Hurley and Dan is a great coach too

I missed the comment, what did Hurley say?
I took it as disrespecting (maybe unintentionally disrespecting) the current players by him saying that he was going to give SHU NIL money at some point. Basically him saying "I'm going to give you guys some NIL, You guys need it...". If I was SHU I would have use that comment to add the extra juice to the players, and my guess is that they did.

Below is the article.
