My old man lives over there. Downtown Shreveport has some nightlife. We usually grab a lunch or two at the Blind Tiger. It's bar food, but their Long Island Iced Teas are awesome.

In Shreveport for a night and looking for a good dinner spot.

I live in Shreveport. Are you looking for anything specific?

Ernest Orleans Restaurant is always good. Link

Silver Star Steakhouse in Bossier does really good BBQ. Haven't had a steak there but I'm sure it's great. Link

The Oyster Bar In Shreveport Is fantastic. Link

If you are looking for Mexican, Superior Bar and Grill is really good. Pretty good atmosphere too. The margs will whip your ***. You've been warned. Link

I enjoy Superior Steakhouse.....not just for the steak though...

the side dishes they offer could be a meal in their own and what make it stand out from other steakhouses....real good....

and bring yo check book

Blind tiger has decent beer selections. Stick with etoufee or gumbo and fried stuff. Blackened fish wasn't anything special.

Craw daddy's kitchen on Mansfield rd.

I can get (American) Mexican anywhere, anyway.
You won't get Mexican like this anywere. That's a fact. Order the Crazy Javier (may not be listed on the menu). It's a center cut steak cooked on open flame with a side of rice and a dipping sauce of garlic, butter and sour cream.

Bunkie Perkins says Shreveport has an all-you-can-eat Waffle House.

I cannot confirm.
