He has been suspended indefinitely and they are reviewing student conduct to maybe kick him out of school.

They're supposed to review every ref in every game. The black ref didn't see it but the white ref at the bottom of the screen was looking right at it.

If you look at it, he called a foul. That was all he could do at the time. Once he went to the scorer's table and met with both coaches, that is when he would throw the kid out. Any penalties regarding the suspension of games, or the season, would then be left up to a conference commissioner, or an authority of whatever association they belong to.

yeah - dang - that is not basketball - that is assault. Kid was defenseless and never saw it coming - not like incidental contact fighting for a board. I'd have the guy arrested.
