Um they didnt take over a city.. a new low for you
conservative speakers have been attacked on college campuses.. in Michigan and elsewhere, conservatives bring protection against being attacked by the antifa anarchists and not to riot or loot or destroy property... or kill cops or take over the government. They did not bring pallets of bricks or Molotov cocktails either.

furthermore.. this is their only example.. two protests against being locked down in your homes. before that you have to go back to post-WWI bonus army.. and the Whiskey Rebellion and the Boston tea Party... whereas this leftist rioting is a regular occurrence... and much more destruction than any of these other references.

The armed militias you refer to I believe were the owners of that shop ... that may be a good reason to arm oneself... anyone who touts what’s happening in Seattle as an ok thing is part of the greater issue.. It does no good to attempt to talk reasonably to a violent mob and thus will be interesting going forward.

What are you talking about? Now we can’t discuss a city in the USA? You consistently show why you are the issue and the one who needs to be controlled by the moderators. How sad and pathetic you must be in your daily life.

So, this is a thread about tourism in Seattle. Thanks for the reset.

I love Seattle. It's gotten expensive and there is way too much traffic. Too much rain but the winters are mild. Young and vibrant.

I've had reasonably nice weather in the handful of trips I've made to Seattle over the past 25 years. Of course, all the trips have been during the summer (June - Sept) which is a great time to visit.

Husky Stadium and the UW campus was a nice visit during LDW back in 2016. The football game itself, not so much.

I enjoyed a Mariners-Orioles game at Safeco Field about 15 years ago. Several brewery stops across the city. Also Mt. Rainier and up to San Juan Islands for whale watching (mostly saw killer whales).

Back in the 90s, I went east of the Cascades to a small town called Leavenworth which is like a German style village. All fun times.

Leavenworth is a cool town, does a great Oktoberfest. Also nice skiing right down the road at Stevens Pass.
