Since sports are canceled I think this is an ideal time to say something positive about our friendly neighbors to the East.

I'll start, Iowa invented sliced bread. Way to go guys, you really nailed that one.

They’re pretty close to the Great Lakes.

The baseball complex in CB sucks less than most of the complexes in Omaha.

When I was growing up it was a good place to recycle pop cans. We made sure to drive straight the hell out of there afterwards. #idiotsoutwalkingaround

Taco ride. Great times!! Only been on a few, and they ended with injuries to somebody in our group and an ambulance ride for one unfortunate soul...but damn if they ain't fun. Bikes, booze, tacos. #winning

The loess hills in western Iowa and Ames, where I went to graduate school—I had a great time there.

My grandparents lived briefly in Council Bluffs, which is where my Mom was born. They moved back to Omaha shortly after her birth. To this day she has a hard time acknowledging that she was born there!

You can get your freak on 24/7, and you have options.....porn shops and or casinos.

Ped bridge, so people without a car can still get out

Legal drinking age used to be 19 so I got a head start on being a raging alcoholic

They're kind enough to claim Carter Lake so we don't have to

Forgot that part. We would head over there in the summer when we were home from UNL.

OBSESSED WITH IOWA!!!!!! I am really surprised you have internet in Nebraska. I can only assume it is still dial-up and you have to use those free CD's that AOL gave out to actually access the internet?

I think Iowa State is okay, and Ames is a fun college town. Always had fun there when we'd road trip for Husker games. Ames is literally a ghost town in summer, though. Even the fast food restaurants close for lack of customers.

The Quad Cities are actually an underrated area. Love the parks along the river. The downtown of Davenport has some historic buildings, plus you have the riverboat casinos. Maybe it only gets partial credit because half of it is on the Illinois side. They had a little place called SoCo that was quite fond of back in the day.

Minny to the north, Nebraska the west, mizzery to the south, and Illinois to the east?
Iowa? You owe your neighbors an apology. And Sodak says no thanks

although he had to move to Nebraska to learn the game of football he was very generous when he chose to take his new found knowledge back to Iowa.
