Europe came into the singles with a sizable lead, and got off to a fast start. But things are tightening up a bit now.

Tony Finau killing it again today. Makes sitting him out yesterday afternoon even more of a mystery.

Europe looks like they will take 6 points off Tiger and Phil, Phil was a really bad choice, Tiger played 4 matches and never made it to the 18th tee.

Tiger isn’t good in team play, never has been. He’s a combined 9-16-1 in fourballs and foursomes, but they threw him out there 3 times this weekend.

Dear Mr. Furyk:

Thank you for using two of your captain's picks on Tiger and Phil. You definitely took one for the team.

Sincerely,

I've never understood or watched the Ryder Cup. What a weird sounding format/event. U.S. against Europe? What do they count as "Europe"? I also hate pairs stuff in golf. Just give me a regular old tournament.

Was originally a U.S. vs. UK+Ireland thing, but the U.S. won big several times in a row so they expanded the European field to make it more competitive.

I like match play, so I always enjoy the Sunday singles. I don't follow the first two days as closely.
