Well my complaint all along was they were all individuals and not a team. They played more a a a team today in individual format than they did last 2 days. Announcers even said today. Americans want to play their own ball and by themselves.
Showed a lot of heart
Absolute ******** that Hovland can opt out and still get a 1/2 point.

Well the better TEAM won which nobody should be surprised about.
Sky Sports which was carried on Golf Channel this morning was a great break from the Brandle Chamblee's nonsense. He is still way overboard on the hatred of LIV players at an event that shouldn't be discussed during the Ryder Cup.
They had a great selection of commentators with one great observation. Leaving Paris the European team was asking how do they get better enough playing in NY in 2 years. The big story leaving Paris was the demands from US players to get paid for playing in the Ryder Cup. The European leaders and players binded together that the team was always playing for pride. Attitude and focus always wins out

1000% agree. The Morikawa/English pairing makes absolutely no sense today. Stubbornness of sticking to a pre-determined plan and not adjusting to the reality.

I think the powers that be in the US wanted the whole Keegan/Northeast/St John’s/Bethpage story too much.
So who are "the Powers"?

The PGA of America selects the US captain….probably some select committee within.
Yea. PGA tried to save face after being exposed with Zach on Full swing. Thought Zach was the worst choice of captain before they chose Keegan. He was nowhere on the pecking order to be a captain until Zach left him off the team. He lost all support from the previous players/captains/vice captains before this thing even began. Says a lot that the most visible athlete on site was Michael Jordan not any previous Ryder cuppers or golfers.

Keegan Bradley was never even interviewed before he was made Captain. How f-ing stupid is that process!!
They wanted the storyline more than the Cup. Keegan, Northeast, went to St John’s, played Bethpage as a kid.

Europe is probably already thinking about the right captain for 2027 (I would stick with Donald if it were me)….the US will get around to it 8-9 months from now and put minimal thought into it.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Tiger was a captain soon.
Yeah the ultimate individual player who a also did little at the RC.
Hope not!

And Perhaps his first biggest error was not havingvthe guts to play himself.

I've heard a lot about Francesco Molinari is the pairings guru in the last two Ryder Cups for the European. His name was brought up again this afternoon. The Europeans are already working on 2 years from now with a plan.
US have no plan. Just show up and play and collect your half million and go home with another lose.

This stuff needs to stop. Rooting for US and booing the Europeans is great.
Throwing beers at the wives and family of the European team is way over the line. They need to start throwing people out if they can't behave. Maybe it time to stop serving alcohol in this event so the drunks won't show up!

Yea it’s kind of ridiculous that people show up to any event and pay good menu to not remember it. A woman was documenting people that were passed out throughout the grounds as early as 9 am Friday.
This is not just a US thing. The bad behavior from fans goes both ways. There’s no shortage of European idiots. I remember last Ryder Cup where people were complaining about “European hooliganism”.
