RIP to a great singer/writer and one of the better 1 hit wonders...EDIT 2 hit wonder

this song reminds me of cold winter sundays listening to WBRW in the background and a little one

and apparently not a one hit wonder..hit #3 with his version of Lion Sleeps Tonight..i guess thats the version I probably heard when i was a kid and not the original

Really? What rock do you live under? Why do you feel the need to come into a thread like this and whine about never hearing of them? I don't do the same when baseball or basketball players from years past are memorialized in a thread. I just don't open the thread. How f'n' hard is that?

Never heard of him either but clicked on to see who he was. Being a child of the 50’s and 60’s wasn’t much into the pop music of the late 79’s and after. Was more into country and blues.
Not a bad song.
